Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Please Touch Museum! The Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibit, a traveling exhibit based on the beloved movie classic, opens on Oct. 8 in Philadelphia. Visitors of all ages are invited to come along with Dorothy and Toto on a multi-sensory exploration of the Land of Oz.

My Witch: The Margaret Hamilton Stories

‘My Witch’ at Hubbard Hall presents the real Margaret Hamilton John Ahlin's new one-person play, starring Jean Tafler and directed by Al D'Andrea, introduces audiences to Margaret Hamilton, who famously portrayed the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 MGM musical of The Wizard of Oz.  Hubbard Hall, located on Main Street in Cambridge, New York, just west of Route 22, through November 14. Chicago: Where Comics Came to Life (1880-1960) is an exhibit open to the public through Jan. 9. It includes a look at The Wizard of Oz, which was written, illustrated, both staged and filmed for the first time, and published in Chicago.

W.W. Denslow, the first illustrator of Oz, was also the first artist invited by Elbert Hubbard to join the Roycrofters and make their community his home-away-from-home. Chair Cindy Ragni has lined up a program filled with Oz in the arts.
